במענה למכתבו מעש"ק, בו כותב ראשי פרקים מפעולותיו בהפצת המעינות, ובזה שחוזר מאמרי חסידות בבית המדרש שידוע כמבצר וכו' והרבה נתקרבו לרעיון החסידות.
ובודאי שמשתדל לקרבם יותר ויותר, וראינו במוחש אשר מזמן לזמן על ידי ענינים הנקראים דער ארום פון חסידות (כמובן, מבלי לנגוע בזמן הנקבע ללימוד החסידות), בא הקירוב בזמן קצר יותר ובמדה גדולה יותר.
ובמ"ש בענין נכבדות שיש מעונינים להחליף את הלבושים למודרנים יותר - מובן שאין מקום למלאות דרישה כזו, כיון שמראה הוא על מהלך הנפש של המדוברת או משפחתה או של שניהם יחד, ואם בהתחלת ענין מתנים תנאים האמורים, מובן מה יכול לצמוח מזה בעתיד הקרוב ולאחריו, והרי הכניסה בשידוך הוא לא חיפוש מצב של מלחמה בעניני תורה ומצותי', ובמלחמה מי שלא יהי' המנצח בפועל אי אפשר שלא יזיק לשני הצדדים, ובפרט שבכהנ"ל נאמר ולאום מלאום, לפעמים זה קם ולפעמים זה וכו'.
אבל מוכרחני לאמר שפלא בכלל השאלה, שהרי רבו החרדים לדבר ה' באה"ק ת"ו - כן ירבו - ובודאי שיש למצוא בינותם שיהיו מעונינים דוקא בההיפך, ז.א. אשר מסורת אבותיהם בידיהם, כי מסורה זו תורה היא.
לפלא שאינו מזכיר בהנוגע למפעל חלוקת מצה שמורה ומפעל ל"ג בעומר, ובטח ימלא בהזמנות הבאה.

In response to your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh, in which you write main points about your activities in spreading the wellsprings, and about repeating Chassidic discourses in the Beit Midrash known as a stronghold, etc., and that many have become closer to the idea of Chassidus.
Certainly you are striving to bring them even closer, and we have seen clearly that from time to time, through matters called der arum fun Chassidus (of course, without interfering with the set time for studying Chassidus), this closeness comes more quickly and to a greater extent.
Regarding what you wrote about some who are interested in changing their attire to more modern styles—it is understood that there is no place to fulfill such a request, since it reflects the mindset of the person involved or her family or both together. If at the beginning of such a matter conditions like these are set, it is clear what could result from this in the near future and beyond. Entering into a shidduch is not about seeking a state of conflict regarding Torah and mitzvot; in conflict, whoever may be victorious in practice, it is impossible that both sides will not be harmed. Especially since regarding such matters it is said 'Ule'om mile'om' (one nation shall be stronger than the other), sometimes one rises and sometimes the other, etc.
But I must say that I am surprised by the question altogether—after all, there are many who are scrupulous in matters of G‑d in Eretz HaKodesh—may they increase—and certainly among them can be found those who specifically desire the opposite; that is, whose ancestral tradition is in their hands, for this tradition is Torah.
It is surprising that you do not mention anything regarding the project of distributing Shmura Matzah or the Lag BaOmer project; surely you will include this in your next report.
