ולפלא השאלה שהרי בשעה טובה ומוצלחת נעשה לתלמיד למכינת הישיבה הק' תורת אמת מיסודה ובהנהלתה של כ"ק רבותינו נשיאינו זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, ובמילא בשאלות בחינות ולימוד וכיו"ב עליו לעשות מתאים להוראות הנהלת הישיבה הק' תורת אמת.
ב) זמן השיעורים דחומש תהלים ותניא.
בכלל הרי כבר מבואר בהקדמה להיום יום, אשר אמירת השיעור תהלים - כפי שנחלק התהלים לימי החדש - הוא לאחרי תפלת שחרית, ולימוד חומש עם פירוש רש"י ושיעור תניא, מובן שטוב יותר בסמיכות להתפלה של שחרית ומה טוב תיכף, ובאם לסיבה אי אפשר זאת אז משלימים גם בלילה שלאחרי זה.
בהנוגע למנהגי הנחת תפילין, הנה ישאל אצל זקני אנ"ש אשר בעיה"ק ירושלים ת"ו.

In response to your letter from the 22nd of Iyar, in which you ask whom you should be tested by. It is surprising to ask this since you have become a student at the preparatory division of the holy Yeshivah Toras Emes, founded and led by our holy Rebbeim. Therefore, regarding exams and study matters and similar issues, you should act according to the instructions of the administration of Yeshivah Toras Emes.
Regarding the times for the daily lessons in Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya: In general, it is already explained in the introduction to Hayom Yom that reciting the daily Tehillim portion—as divided for the days of the month—is after Shacharis. Studying Chumash with Rashi's commentary and Tanya is best done close to Shacharis prayer—ideally immediately after. If for some reason this is not possible, it can be made up at night following that day.
Concerning customs related to putting on tefillin: ask the elders of Anash who are in Jerusalem.
