I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 23rd of Nissan and regarding what you write about the matter of the committee, etc., it is well known the demand of our Rebbeim, especially from Admor HaEmtza'i, that one must have at least one person with whom to consult. Then it is two nefesh haElokit against one nefesh haBehamit; certainly then a good and correct decision is reached. Especially in a matter that concerns the public, it is even more understandable that one must stop and avoid relying solely on oneself.
I was pleased to read in your letter, even if only briefly, about the activities of Tzeirei Agudas Chabad. May it be G‑d's will that this should proceed in an ever-increasing manner—both regarding one's own four cubits and regarding others. Especially as we find ourselves between Zman Cheiruteinu (the time of our freedom—from Egypt in its literal sense and even from Egypt in holiness) and the time of Matan Torah. As is emphasized by the word "Matan"—that it is given as a gift; one only needs to make the preparation through "U'Sefartem Lachem." As is well known from Rabbeinu HaZaken's explanation [...] "U'Sefartem Lachem"—to make things bright.
