Shalom u'Vrachah!
Regarding what you wrote in Shaar HaYichud VeHaEmunah at the end of the chapter about the letters Menatzpach etc., Buzina D'Kardunita—the explanation according to Chassidus can be found in the Siddur, discourse Adnai Sefatai (on Rosh HaShanah), Torah Ohr Miketz (39a), and in the additions there at the end of Shemot.
Regarding what you wrote in Iggeres HaKodesh section 5 (107b) about the lower Hei in its writing etc., indicating four directions—the intention is not that its writing indicates four directions (for if so, it should also indicate up and down as mentioned earlier). Rather, here it specifies which kind of expansion is meant by the lower Hei. That is, the Hei in its written form (length and width) indicates expansion. However, with the first Hei this is an expansion of hidden intellect that ends in the heart; whereas with the lower Hei it is an expansion in speech from which it extends and spreads to up/down and four directions.
Summary
The Rebbe clarifies subtle points about mystical letters and their chassidic meanings: Buzina D'Kardunita's explanation is found in classic sources, while the lower Hei represents spiritual expansion through speech into all directions—distinct from the upper Hei's intellectual expansion.
