The Avrech Avraham Mordechai shiyichyeh.
Shalom u'Vrachah!
I was pleased to hear that you have begun putting on tefillin.
May it be G‑d's will that this should be at a good and successful time, and that you accomplish all the matters connected with this—beginning with the simple meaning, as explained in Shulchan Aruch and brought in Tanya Kadisha at the beginning of chapter 41: and specifically regarding tefillin, etc., see there. For the entire Torah is compared to tefillin; that is, through the act of putting on tefillin one draws down into all areas of Torah. And after the two months of preparation—you should accept upon yourself on your bar mitzvah day the full yoke of Torah and mitzvos in their entirety.
Summary
The Rebbe encourages Avraham Mordechai as he begins putting on tefillin, highlighting its deep connection to all aspects of Torah observance and urging him to embrace Torah and mitzvos fully as he approaches his bar mitzvah.
