To the committee organizing the Melaveh Malkah gatherings, headed by Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n who is involved in tzt"z, Moshe HaKohen, may Hashem be upon them and grant them life.

It was with pleasure that I received in due time the news from this committee, and afterwards the regular updates about the "Seudasa d'David Malka Meshicha" (the meal of David King Messiah) each Motzaei Shabbat.

May it be G‑d's will that the impression of this meal be felt throughout all the days of the following week. As discussed at the farbrengen on the yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, based on the words of Beit Yosef Orach Chaim section 300 regarding what is written in the Siddurim, it is understood how great an effect this matter has on all aspects of the weekdays that follow.

And may it be G‑d's will—especially considering our Sages' statement: "Wherever ten gather, the Shechinah rests," and even if they are not speaking words of Torah (see Tanya Iggeres HaKodesh ch. 23), certainly when G‑d-fearing people speak with one another words of Torah and inspiration for fear and love of Hashem, then all participants in the gathering are blessed—they and their families—with all they need.

Especially since those gathered do so with joy; it is known from Zohar that when a person below stands with a shining face below, then above he is also illuminated... The joy of a person draws down another higher joy (Zohar Tetzaveh 184b).

May it be G‑d's will that you go from strength to strength until the fulfillment of the promise: "You shall go out in joy," with the true and complete redemption through our righteous Moshiach.
