ויה"ר שיוחקקו דברים אלה בזכרונו (עיין לקו"ת סוף פרשת קדושים ד"ה והדרת פני זקן) ויפעלו פעולתם בחיי היום יומים במילוי הציווי דבכל דרכיך דעהו, מתוך שמחה אמיתית ופנימיות.

Regarding your note, I received your pidyon nefesh in addition to the information by telephone. It is surprising that despite our many conversations about this, there is still no basis for sadness, G‑d forbid. If every Jew—and especially Chassidim—are commanded to serve Hashem with joy, as emphasized in the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov and his students and their students’ students, how much more so does this apply to someone from Shevet Levi, whose portion is Hashem and who dwells in the tents of Torah and prayer. Therefore, this surprise is all the greater. See also Zohar (Tetzaveh 184d): "Ta chazi... he stands in radiance below; then he is illuminated from above." Study this well.
May it be His will that these words be engraved in your memory (see Likkutei Torah at the end of Parshas Kedoshim, discourse beginning "VeHadarta Pnei Zaken") and have their effect in daily life by fulfilling the commandment "Bechol Derachecha Da'eihu" (in all your ways know Him), with true and inner joy.
I await good news regarding all the above and conclude with a blessing for a speedy recovery and complete healing.
