במענה על מכתבו מח' כסלו חדש הגאולה והנסים. ת"ח על הבשו"ט מאשר נסתדר השיעור בלימוד תניא ב... ובודאי מזמן לזמן ידרוש מהנעשה בזה ומההוספה, שהרי כמובן גם זה בכלל הציווי דמעלין בקדש וכל המוסיף מוסיפין לו.
מ"ש אי שביעת רצונו מעבודתו בקדש ובפרט שאחוז מהתלמידים אינו שייך להשפעה חסידותית וכו' - לפלא על נוסח כזה בהנוגע לנשמות בני ישראל, למרות שמבואר בקבלה ובביאור בחסידות ומהם גם בספר התניא, אשר כאו"א יש לו חלק בכל ד' חלקי פרד"ס שבתורה ובפרט בהנוגע לתורת החסידות שידוע פתגם רבנו הזקן שהחסידות היא בשביל כל ישראל ולא רק בשביל כמה חוגים מסוימים, אלא שמובן שצריכים להיות דברים היוצאים מן הלב ובהסברה מתאימה לכלי המקבל, וידוע מרז"ל כל מי שיש בו יראת שמים דבריו נשמעים, וכשיתבונן בגודל העבודה והזכות שלו זה בודאי יוסיף אומץ ותיכף יראה הוספה בהצלחתו בהאמור, ומובן שעי"ז יתוסף ג"כ בברכות נותן התורה בעניניו הוא.

In response to your letter from the 8th of Kislev, the month of redemption and miracles. Thank you for the good news that the Tanya study class has been arranged in... Certainly, from time to time you will inquire about its progress and additions, for obviously this too is included in the commandment of 'Ma'alin BaKodesh' (we ascend in holiness), and whoever adds is granted more.
Regarding what you wrote about not being satisfied with your holy work, especially since a portion of the students are not receptive to chassidic influence etc.—it is surprising to see such language concerning the souls of Bnei Yisrael. Even though it is explained in Kabbalah and elucidated in Chassidus—including also in Sefer HaTanya—that every individual has a share in all four levels of Pardes in Torah, especially regarding Toras HaChassidus. It is well known that our master the Alter Rebbe said that Chassidus is for all Israel and not just for certain groups. Of course, things must come from the heart and be explained appropriately for each recipient's capacity. As our Sages taught: 'Whoever possesses fear of Heaven—his words are heard.' When you reflect on the greatness of your work and privilege, this will surely strengthen you and immediately you will see increased success as mentioned above. It is understood that through this there will also be an increase in blessings from the Giver of Torah in your own matters.

P.S. Certainly you will utilize the auspicious days of Kislev in general—in what was mentioned above—and especially Yud Tes Kislev. Regarding yourself specifically: explain to your students the great significance of this day and its vital influence on the entire year; may it be G‑d's will that you will also share good news about this.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Chassidus belongs to every Jew and encourages persistent effort to reach all students with warmth and clarity. Growth in Torah brings greater blessing; use special times like Kislev to inspire others and yourself.
