קבלתי הפ"נ שלו לעורר ר"ר לבריאות הנכונה, וכשאהי' על הציון של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, אקראהו, למלאות משאלות לבבו לטובה בהמצטרך לו.
ידוע אשר לקבלת ברכות שמים מעל, צריך האדם לעשות למטה כלים המתאימים, ואשר כלי לקבלת כל ברכה זוהי התורה.
ולכן הנני להציע לפניו, שיקח עליו בל"נ לשמור את שלשת השיעורים השוים לכל אנ"ש, כתקנת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, והם אמירת שיעור תהלים בכל יום שחרית אחר התפלה, (כפי שנחלק התהלים לימי החדש) ולימוד פרשה חומש בכל יום מהסדרה של השבוע, ביום א' מהתחלת הסדרה עד שני ביום שני מפרשת שני עד שלשי וכו' ושיעור לימוד בתניא, כפי שנחלק לימות השנה, בודאי יהיו אלו כלים טובים להמשכת וקבלת הברכה.
נהניתי לקרות במכתבו, אשר מאנ"ש הוא וגם מגזע אנ"ש, ועוד זאת שנולד ביום י"ג תשרי, הוא יום ההילולא של כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש, ובודאי סימנא מילתא היא, ושלוח לו במעטפה בפ"ע ספר תולדות מוהר"ש, וכדאי הי' אשר ילמוד בעיון הראוי את שיחות הקדש שלו, הנדפס בחלק שני שם, אשר בטח יכניס לו זה אור וחיות בלימוד התורה וקיום המצות, וגם בחיים היום יומי.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
I received his pidyon nefesh to arouse abundant mercy for proper health, and when I am at the resting place of my father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may the memory of the righteous and holy be a blessing for life in the World to Come), I will read it to fulfill the wishes of his heart for good in all he needs.
It is known that to receive blessings from Heaven above, a person must make fitting vessels below, and that the vessel for receiving every blessing is Torah. Therefore, I suggest that he accept upon himself, without a vow, to keep the three daily study sessions established for all Anash by my father-in-law, the Rebbe: reciting a portion of Tehillim every day after Shacharit (as Tehillim is divided according to the days of the month), studying a section of Chumash each day from that week's parsha (on Sunday from the beginning until Sheini; on Monday from Sheini until Shelishi; etc.), and a daily lesson in Tanya as divided throughout the year. Certainly these will be good vessels for drawing down and receiving blessing.
I was pleased to read in his letter that he is from Anash and also descended from Anash, and furthermore that he was born on 13 Tishrei—the yahrzeit of my grandfather, the Rebbe Maharash. Surely this is a significant sign. Enclosed separately is a copy of Sefer Toldot Maharash; it would be worthwhile for him to study with proper attention the holy talks printed in its second part. This will surely bring him light and vitality in Torah study and mitzvah observance—and also in daily life.
