גם ידוע אשר בשעת שמחה רצונו של אדם והשתדלותו להיות בצוותא וחברותא, ושמחת אתה וביתך - ואנשי ביתך.
ובפרט צוותא וחברותא דלימוד התורה, אשר סגולתו לקרב את הלבבות עד שנעשים אוהבים זה את זה. וביחוד בלימוד פנימיות התורה, שהיא אילנא דחיי דלית תמן לא קשיא ולא מחלוקת.
ובהתאחדות הרבים כולם כאחד לא יבצר מהם כל אשר יזמו, ובפרט אם ההתאחדות היא בלימוד והתועדות דאהבת ישראל, אשר אז נתמלאת הבקשה שיהי' ברכנו אבינו כולנו כאחד באור פניך, וגורמים השמחה גם מלמעלה למטה - זמן שמחתנו ל' רבים: שמחת הקב"ה - ישמח הוי' במעשיו, ושמחת ישראל - ישמח ישראל בעושיו.

I am sending herewith the booklet for 13 Tishrei – the upcoming Chag HaSimchah, so that it may bring merit to the many.
This is especially relevant during the days of joy of Zman Simchateinu (the time of our rejoicing), with 'our rejoicing' expressed in the plural form. It is also known that at a time of joy a person desires and strives to be together with others—in company and fellowship—and to rejoice together with his household and family members.
Particularly important is gathering together for Torah study, whose special quality is to draw hearts close until people become loving toward one another. This is especially true when studying the inner dimension of Torah, which is called the Tree of Life where there are no difficulties or disputes.
When everyone unites as one group, nothing they set out to do will be withheld from them—especially if this unity comes through learning and farbrengen in the spirit of Ahavas Yisrael (love for a fellow Jew). Then the request 'Bless us our Father all as one with the light of Your countenance' is fulfilled, and this causes joy from Above to below—Zman Simchateinu in plural: both the joy of the Holy One Blessed Be He—'Yismach Hashem b’ma’asav' (the L‑rd will rejoice in His works), and the joy of Israel—'Yismach Yisrael b’osav' (Israel will rejoice in its Maker).
