איך בין אויך געווען צופרידן צו זען און לייענען דעם ערשטן ארטיקל דערפון, וואס דאס שטארקט מיין זיכערקייט, אז פון יעצט אן און ווייטער וועט די ארבעט גיין מיט א רעגלמעסיקן און שנעלן טעמפא, און דערמיט נאכקומען דעם פארלאנג פון טויזנטער חסידים און סתם אידן, וואס האבן אזוי לאנג געווארט אויף דעם המשך.
עס איז איבעריק צו אונטרשטרייכן די וויכטיקייט פון די "זכרונות" פון אידן בכלל, און פאר די וועלכע אינטערעסירן זיך מיט דער געשיכטע פון אידן און אידישקייט און חסידות בפרט. איך וויל בלויז דערמאנען דעם גרויסן זכות וואס איז פארבונדן מיט דער ארבעט און ווינשן אייך הצלחה נאך מער ווי בא דער ערשטער טייל.

With great satisfaction I have learned that you have joined in fulfilling your promise, which you had previously given to my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal, regarding preparing for print the continuation of the "Zichronos."
I was also pleased to see and read the first article from it, which strengthens my confidence that from now on and onward, the work will proceed at a regular and swift pace, thus meeting the demand of thousands of chassidim and Jews in general who have waited so long for this continuation.
It is unnecessary to underline the importance of these "Zichronos" for Jews in general, and especially for those interested in Jewish history, Judaism, and Chassidus in particular.
I only wish to remind you of the great merit associated with this work and wish you even more success than with the first part.
