די עקזיסטענץ פון א כשר'ער מקוה אין יעדער אידישער געגענד, וועלכע זאל געבען די מעגליכקייט פאר יעדער אידישער פרוי אפצוהיטען טהרת המשפחה אן איבעריקע שוועריגקייטן, איז דעריבער א אומבאדינגטע נויטווענדיגקייט, און קיינע שטערונגען דארפען ניט אפהאלטען דעם אויפבוי פון א מקוה.
זעלבסטפערשטענדליך, אז עס איז פון גרעסטער וויכטיגקייט אז די מקוה זאל אויפגעבויט ווערען וואס פריער, וכל המציל נפש אחת מישראל כאילו הציל עולם מלא, און עס איז צו גרויס די אחריות פאר אפלייגען עס אפילו אויף א קורצע צייט.
איך ווענד זיך דערפאר מיט מיין בקשה צו אלע וואס קענען העלפען אין דעם, ובפרט צו די אידישע איינוואוינער פון ברייטאן ביטש, אנטיילצונעמען מיט דער גרעסטער ווארימקייט אין שאפען די געהעריקע מיטלען פאר אויפבויען די מקוה.
איך וויל אויך שטארק זיין אין דער האפנונג אז די רבנים, שול פרעז[י]דענטן און עסקנים פון געגענד, וועלען זיכער ניט רוען ביז די מקוה וועט בעזרת השם יתברך געעפענט ווערען אין דער נאענטער צוקונפט.
דער זכות פון דער גרויסער מצוה זאל ביישטיין יעדען איינעם און יעדער איינער וועלכע נעמען אנטייל אין דעם, געבענטש צו ווערען פון השם יתברך אין אלעס וואס זיי דארפען בבני חיי ומזוני רוויחי.

With joy I received the news that in Brighton Beach a "Vaad Taharas HaMishpachah" (Family Purity Committee) has been formed with the goal of building a kosher mikvah there.
The observance of family purity is essential not only for spiritual but also for physical continuity, both individually and collectively.
The existence of a kosher mikvah in every Jewish neighborhood, which enables every Jewish woman to observe family purity without undue hardship, is therefore an absolute necessity. No obstacles should prevent the construction of a mikvah.
It goes without saying that it is of utmost importance that the mikvah be built as soon as possible. "Whoever saves one soul from Israel is as if he saved an entire world," and the responsibility is too great to delay even for a short time.
I therefore turn with my request to all who can help in this matter—especially to the Jewish residents of Brighton Beach—to participate with the greatest warmth in providing the necessary means for building the mikvah.
I also want to strongly express my hope that the rabbis, synagogue presidents, and community leaders of the area will surely not rest until the mikvah will, with G‑d's help, be opened in the near future.
The merit of this great mitzvah should stand by each and every one who participates in this effort, blessing them from Hashem in all their needs—children, life, and abundant sustenance.
