והנני בזה להביע ברכתי, שיהי' קשורם בשעה טובה ומוצלחת למזל טוב ובסימן טוב, וכאשר יגבילו זמן הנשואין, יהי' זה למז"ט מז"ט ויבנו בית בישראל על יסודי התורה והמצוה וכפי שנתבארו בתורת החסידות, כי בפרט בזמן הזה של החשך כפול ומכופל אשר עושים חושך לאור ואור לחשך, מוכרח הדבר שיתעסק כל אחד ואחד בתורת החסידות ועל ידי המאור שבתורה יאיר אצלו גם בנגלה דתורה ועי"ז גם ביתר הפרטים בגשמיות וברוחניות.
כשיראה את ... שי' נא למסור לו הפ"ש ממני, ולמסור לו ג"כ מה שאמר כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, - והוא מיוסד על הידוע שמכל ענין וענין יש ללמוד מוסר השכל בעבודת השם ית', והלימוד מפסח שני הוא, אז עס איז קיינמאל ניט פארפאלען, ואפילו אם בשעה שכל ישראל הקריבו קרבן פסח, והאחד שהי' טמא או בדרך רחוקה - או - לכם, היינו שהי' זה מרצונו הטוב, בכל זאת איז דאס ניט פארפאלען, ועושים בשבילו מועד מיוחד, שלאחר שטיהר את עצמו, יקרב לבית המקדש ויכנס לפנים מהאסקופה וכו'.

I received your letter pleasantly—though without indication of when it was written—informing me of your engagement to Miss ... may she live. I hereby express my blessing that your union should be at a good and auspicious time, for mazal tov and with a good sign. When you set the wedding date, may it be for mazal tov, mazal tov, and may you build a home in Israel upon the foundations of Torah and mitzvah as explained in the teachings of Chassidus. Especially in this time of doubled and redoubled darkness, when people turn darkness into light and light into darkness, it is essential that everyone engage in the study of Chassidus; through the illumination within Torah, one will also shine in the revealed parts of Torah and thereby in all other matters both materially and spiritually.
When you see ... shiyichyeh, please convey my regards to him, and also tell him what my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal nishmaso Eden (may his merit shield us), said—which is based on the well-known principle that from every matter one must learn a lesson in serving Hashem. The lesson from Pesach Sheni is: "Es iz keynmol nit farfallen" (it is never lost). Even if at the time when all Israel brought the Korban Pesach someone was impure or on a distant road—or even if this was by his own choice—still it is not lost. A special occasion is made for him so that after purifying himself he can approach the Beis HaMikdash and enter beyond the threshold, etc.
Summary
The Rebbe blesses an engaged couple to build their home on Torah foundations illuminated by Chassidus. He teaches that from Pesach Sheni we learn it is never too late to correct or draw close—one can always return and achieve holiness regardless of past setbacks.
