Your pidyon nefesh has been received, and I will read it without a vow at the Tziyun of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe hk"m, on the upcoming 19th of Kislev. And as it is said about a tzaddik who has passed away, that he is found in this world even more than during his lifetime, surely he will give his blessing and may the Holy One, blessed be He, fulfill his blessing for you in material and spiritual matters.

As for your complaint about your spiritual state etc.—strengthen yourself with steadfastness in both Nigleh (revealed Torah) and Chassidus, and strive to spread the wellsprings outward; through this you too will be redeemed, for according to halachah one takes a leading portion. Certainly inform me in detail about what was spent now for redeeming Kehot's books.
