מיט גרויס צופרידענהייט האב איך ערהאלטען אייער בריף, אז נעקסטע וואך גייט מען פייערן דעם חנוכת הבית, וועלכע טרעפט צוזאמען מיטן אנהויב זמן הלימוד פון ישיבה.
איך וויל דערביי אויסדריקן מיין ברכה צו די אלע מיטגלידער פון דער הנהלה ווי אויך צו די ראשי ישיבה ומורים ווי אויך צו די אלע וועלכע האבען געהאלפען און העלפען בגשמיות וברוחניות, אז השם יתברך זאל זיי אלעמען באגליקען אין אלע זייערע ענינים הפרטיים והכלליים.
עס איז באוואוסט דער ווארט פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע וועלכען ער פלעגט אפט זאגען, געבויט אויפן גרונט פון מרז"ל אז הקב"ה גיט שכר מדה כנגד מדה, איז במילא די אלע וואס ארבעטען אויף צו מאכען נעהענטער אידן לאבינו שבשמים, וואס אלע אידן ווערן אנגערופען זיינע קינדער גיט זיי דער אויבערשטער ברוך הוא כמה פעמים ככה אז זיי זאלן האבן פיל נחת אידישן נחת פון זייערע אייגענע קינדער, פון זייערע בני בית און פון זיך אליין.
די זאך פון חנוכת הבית איז, וואס אין שטוב געפינט זיך דער מענטש מיט אלע זיינע זאכען און אלע אייגענשאפטען וואס די שטוב נעמט ארום הן די חיצוניות און הן די פנימיות, און די שטוב דארף אים באשיצען פון פארשידענע זאכען וועלכע קענען ח"ו אים שאדען-טאן. נאך אין א גרעסערער מאס איז דאס ריכטיג בנוגע צו א ישיבה, וואס זיכער איז אז א ישיבה און בפרט א ליובאוויטשער ישיבה, איז ניט נאר אויף אויסלערנען די תלמידים און תלמידות א פרטיות'דיקן לימוד, נאר איבערהויפט צו מגדל זיין זיי פאר גאנצע אידען אין אלע זייערע ענינים, און אויך צו באשיצען זיי פון פערשידענע ווינטען וועלכע בלאזען פון אלע מאל אן אין דער וועלט, און היינט נאך מיט מער שטארקייט און בייזקייט, און ווילען אפרייסען - היל"ת - אידישע קינדער פון זייער מקור, וואס דאס איז תורה און מצות, וועלכע פארבינדען אונז מיט הקדוש ברוך הוא.
איך בין זיכער, אויפן גרונד פון די ברכות וואס כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האט געבענטשט די ישיבה אחי תמימים ליובאוויטש אין דארטשעסטער-באסטאן, אז זי וועט גיין אויף דעם אויבענדערמאנטען וועג, צו מגדל זיין תלמידים ותלמידות צו זיין גאנצע אידן, סיי זייענדיג אין שטוב און סיי גייענדיק אין גאס, סיי זייענדיק אין דער ישיבה און סיי ארויסגייענדיק פון דער ישיבה. איך וויל אויך דערביי מוסיף זיין מיין ברכה, אז השי"ת זאל אייך העלפען אז די צאל תלמידים ותלמידות זאל ווערן מער און מער, אז אין גיכען זאלט איר קענען זאגען, אז דער פלאץ איז ניט גענוגענד און עס פאדערט זיך א נאך גרעסערער בנין ווי דער איצטיגער.
איך פארענדיק מיט דער ברכה, א כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה צו די אלע וואס ארבעטען מיט דעם מוסד הק' און זיינע פריינד, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
With great satisfaction I received your letter that next week you will be celebrating the dedication of the new building, which coincides with the start of the Yeshiva’s academic term. I wish to express my blessing to all members of the administration as well as to the heads of the Yeshiva and teachers, and also to all those who have helped and continue to help both materially and spiritually, that Hashem Yisbarach should grant them all success in all their personal and communal matters.
It is well known what my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), would often say—based on our Sages’ teaching that Hakadosh Baruch Hu gives reward measure for measure—that all those who work to bring Jews closer to our Father in Heaven (and all Jews are called His children), Hashem blesses them many times over so that they should have much nachas—Jewish nachas—from their own children, from their household members, and from themselves.
The matter of a building dedication is that in a home a person is found with all his belongings and characteristics; everything about him is encompassed by his home—both externally and internally—and the home must protect him from various things that could, G‑d forbid, harm him. This applies even more so regarding a Yeshiva—especially a Lubavitcher Yeshiva—which is not only about teaching students specific subjects but primarily about raising them to be complete Jews in every aspect. It also serves to protect them from various winds blowing constantly in the world—nowadays with even greater force and negativity—that seek to tear Jewish children away from their source, which is Torah and mitzvos connecting us with Hakadosh Baruch Hu.
I am certain, based on the blessings my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may his merit protect us), gave to Yeshivas Achei Temimim Lubavitch in Dorchester-Boston, that it will follow this aforementioned path: raising students—boys and girls—to be complete Jews both at home and outside, both within the Yeshiva and beyond its walls.
I also wish to add my blessing that Hashem should help you so that the number of students increases more and more until soon you will be able to say that this place is no longer sufficient and an even larger building than this one will be needed.
I conclude with a blessing for a kesivah vachasimah tovah l’shanah tovah u’metukah (to be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year) for all those who work with this holy institution and its friends—both materially and spiritually together.
