Mrs. Nechama Sheiber — Educator and community leader, Detroit

This summary is drawn from the Rebbe's letters to her (about 5724–5729, 1964–1969); I did not find a published biography.

What the letters show

Beis Nechama and Jewish education. The Rebbe encouraged her dedication to Jewish education through Beis Nechama (IK 9090), and taught that dedication to authentic Jewish values, especially in education, creates lasting results (IK 9156, 10105).

Leadership and outreach. He encouraged her in her leadership of Detroit's Chabad event (IK 9791), and urged using every opportunity, especially travel, to inspire Jewish youth (IK 9900).
