This New York committee supported the Chabad teachers' seminary and vocational school for girls (in Kfar Chabad). The Rebbe's letters to it (roughly 1962–1969) are mostly messages for its annual events. See also Family life – The role of the Jewish woman.
What education really is. The Rebbe wrote that true education means kindling a flame within students so that they can go on growing on their own (IK 8990), and that supporting Torah education, especially in Kfar Chabad, draws special blessing (IK 8839).
Women and Torah. He stressed Jewish women's unique role and responsibility in receiving the Torah and strengthening it (IK 8636), their special strengths and vital influence on Jewish education and community life (IK 9153), and that unity among Jews — with women at its center — is essential for receiving the Torah (IK 9325), as is unity among the women themselves in advancing Torah education (IK 9911).
Parshas Shekalim. From Parshas Shekalim he drew the lesson of approaching mitzvos, and especially Jewish education, with full personal participation (IK 8374).
