קבלתי מכתבם בקשר עם חג הגאולה די"ט כסלו, ובעת רצון אזכיר את כל אחד ואחת מהם למילוי משאלות לבבם לטובה.
ובודאי למותר להזכיר להם שהנהגה יום-יומית, כולל לימוד בהתמדה ושקידה והנהגה כיאות, הרי נוסף על העיקר שזהו רצונו של הקב"ה, הרי זה מביא גם כן ברכות השם יתברך להצלחה בכל הענינים, כמבואר גם בתורת בעל הגאולה והשמחה רבנו הזקן.

I received your letter regarding the Festival of Redemption of the 9th of Kislev, and at an auspicious time I will mention each and every one of you for the fulfillment of your heart's desires for good.
Certainly it is unnecessary to remind you that daily conduct—including diligent and consistent study and proper behavior—not only fulfills the will of the Holy One, blessed be He, but also brings blessings from Hashem Yisbarach for success in all matters, as explained in the teachings of the Baal HaGeulah VeHaSimchah, our master the Alter Rebbe.
May it be His will that all this be in a manner of increasing and progressing, as is taught by the upcoming days of Chanukah for us and all Israel for good—that we add in light from day to day.
