Conditions for Involvement in a Project and Proper Conduct

ה'תשל"ב

In general — it is indeed very appropriate, greetings and blessings! But on the condition that there will be someone who will be involved with this so that the matter will be conducted as it should, in practice and in action — I emphasized this above to reject the approach of those who think involvement means: a) instructing others about their obligations, b) explaining why it is impossible for oneself to do what is required.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that true involvement requires personal responsibility and practical action, not just directing others or making excuses for one's own inaction.
