ובודאי, על פי כתבו וכפי ששמעתי אודותיו, למותר להדגיש שבריאות הגוף קשורה בבריאות הנשמה בכל אדם, על אחת כמה וכמה בנוגע לכל אחד ואחת מבני ישראל. שלכן תקותי שמשפיע על חברי ההסתדרות לעשות כל התלוי בהם שתהי' נשמה בריאה בגוף בריא אצל כל הפונים אליהם, ועל פי ההוראה של תורתנו, תורת חיים, ומצותי' עליהם

Your greetings were conveyed to me, as well as the names of your family members and your father-in-law's family. At an auspicious time I will mention them at the resting place of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe.
In accordance with your profession, as director of the medical association, I extend a special blessing that you succeed in using your talents to bring healing and remedy to all who seek it from you. Even more importantly, that you and your colleagues succeed in removing and preventing illness so that from the outset there is no need for medicine—since this is the ultimate goal of health.
Certainly, based on your letter and what I have heard about you, it is unnecessary to emphasize that bodily health is connected with spiritual health in every person—how much more so regarding every single Jew. Therefore, I hope you influence your colleagues in the association to do everything possible so that there will be a healthy soul in a healthy body for all who turn to them—according to the instruction of our Torah, the Torah of life, and its mitzvos about which it is said 'v'chai bahem' (and you shall live by them), for they are our life and the length of our days.
