Shalom u'Vrachah!

I will mention [at the Tziyun] for much success.

The main point—the purpose of all the above—is action in actual practice, as is self-evident and obvious. Accordingly, it is also clear that regarding a decision, not only should one make resolutions verbally and mentally, but—and this is the main thing—one must actually carry them out in practice. This means oneself personally and simply—not as a moral lesson for someone else, but to do it oneself. As the Mishnah says: "They would do much more than what they said they would do."

And in order for the above to be brought into actual practice—a committee appointed for this should gather once a month to collect reports of what was actually done (and not accept good excuses).

And we have been assured regarding all the above: "One who comes to purify is assisted." May it be G‑d's will that this will indeed come into action.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that true progress comes from implementing decisions in real life with personal responsibility. Regular review and honest self-accounting are essential, and those who strive sincerely are granted help from Above.
