In response to your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Parshas Vayeishev: Since our Sages say that a person should always learn in a place his heart desires, your son should do likewise.
Since everything is by Divine Providence, it is appropriate to check the tefillin as well as the mezuzos in your home—if they have not been checked in the last twelve months—to ensure that all are kosher according to halachah.
