במענה למכתבה מיום ר"ח אד"ש והקודמיו,
בנוגע שתנהג בעצמה מכונית – הנה בכלל הנוהג להשתדל שלא להיות "יוצא(ת) מן הכלל"
וכיון שאין זה רגיל כלל באהקת"ו שאשה יראת שמים תנהג מכונית – למה לה לעשות זה?
ובפרט שהמאורעות
בדרכים שם רבו וכו'.
מובן שהמכונית אפשרי שתהי' שלה לכל דבר אבל הנהיגה תהי' על ידי אחר.
בברכת הצלחה רבה בעבודתה הכי חשובה לעודד רוח אלמנות ויתומים שי' ולקרבם לאבינו שבשמים ולבשו"ט בכל עניני'.
בודאי הי' – במסגרת עבודה הנ"ל – פעולות מתאימות לימי פורים אלו.

In response to your letter from Rosh Chodesh Adar Sheni and previous ones, regarding your question about driving a car yourself: In general, one should strive not to be an exception. Since it is not at all common in our community for a woman who is G‑d-fearing to drive a car—why should you do this? Especially since incidents on the roads there have increased, etc. It is understood that the car can belong to you for all purposes, but the driving should be done by someone else.
With abundant blessings for great success in your most important work of encouraging the spirits of widows and orphans and bringing them closer to our Father in Heaven, and may you be successful in all your endeavors.
Certainly, within the framework of this work mentioned above, there were appropriate activities for these days of Purim.
