ויהי רצון אשר יום זכרון זה ישמש לכל אחד ואחד מאתנו, בתוככי כלל ישראל, בתור התעוררות והתעודדות מתמדת ללכת
בדרכיו
של בעל ההילולא, אשר מסר נפשו בפועל ממש להחזקת היהדות ערכי' ומוסדותי' מבלי חת בפני המעצרים והסכנות שהיו כרוכים בעבודתו זו במדינת מולדתו והורה לכל בני ובנות ישראל, באשר הם שם, את
הדרך
אשר ילכו בה והמעשה אשר יעשון, וכל אחד ואחד מאתנו יעשה כל התלוי בו להמשיך בפעולותיו באופן דמוסיף והולך.
בכבוד ובברכה להצלחה ולבשורות טובות.

Hereby I wish to thank you for your letter dated the 8th of Shevat and for your words of blessing and good wishes in connection with Yud Shevat, the twentieth yahrzeit of my revered father-in-law, the Admor, leader of Israel in our generation.
May it be G‑d's will that this day of remembrance serve for each and every one of us, within all Israel, as a constant inspiration and encouragement to follow in the ways of the one whose yahrzeit we mark—who literally gave his life to strengthen Judaism, its values and institutions without fear of arrest or danger involved in this work in his homeland—and who showed all Jewish men and women everywhere the path they should follow and what actions they should take. Each one of us should do all that depends on him to continue these activities in an ever-increasing manner.
With honor and blessing for success and good tidings.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that the yahrzeit of a tzaddik is a time for renewed inspiration to continue their legacy. We are encouraged to strengthen Judaism fearlessly and increase our efforts in following their example.
