הנני מאשר קבלת מכתבם מיום הרביעי ותוכנו בשאלה, שאלת חוות דעתי האם כדאי בזמן הזה שהמצב בישראל הוא כו' לצאת במחאה נגד הנהגת פ' כו'.
והנה כבר נעשה מעשה, שהמחאות נגד כמה ענינים שם הולכות ומתרבות ודוקא בשבועות וימים הכי אחרונים, ובמדינה זו בפרט, ולא רק מארגוני רבנים כי אם גם מארגוני בעלי-בתים, בקשר עם פרשת ניתוחי מתים, טלביזי' בשבת וכולי.
ויהי רצון אשר בעגלא דידן נזכה שכל אחד ואחד מישראל יכיר וידע, ככתוב
בפרשת
שבוע זה, אשר הוי' נצב עליו גו' (ואשר) הארץ גו' לך אתננה (שניתנה מהקב"ה, וכן גם) ולזרעך, ויתבונן בזה כראוי, שאז הרי המסקנא היא מידית וודאית, אשר כל הענינים השייכים לה, הן בארץ והן מחוצה לה, צריכים להיות באופן אשר כל הרואה יכיר שהיא

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from Wednesday and its content regarding your question—my opinion on whether it is appropriate at this time, given the situation in Eretz Yisrael and so forth, to protest against the conduct of P... etc.
Indeed, action has already been taken: protests against various matters there have been increasing—especially in recent weeks and days—in this country in particular. And not only from rabbinic organizations but also from lay organizations, regarding issues such as autopsies, television on Shabbat, and so on.
May it be G‑d's will that speedily in our days we merit that every single Jew will recognize and know—as stated in this week's Torah portion—that Hashem stands over him... (and that) "the land... to you I will give it" (which was given by the Holy One blessed be He), and likewise "to your descendants." When one contemplates this properly, the immediate and certain conclusion is that all matters pertaining to it—both in the Land itself and outside of it—must be conducted in such a way that everyone who sees will recognize that it is a land which "the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year to the end of the year."
