Blessings and peace! I acknowledge receipt of your letter and hope that by the time you receive this letter the health situation of those mentioned has already improved. May you soon share good news about this, with ever-increasing improvement from good to even better. Especially as we have just come from the days of Chanukah, when the mitzvah is to add more candles and light each day. Every mitzvah is a lesson in the life of every Jewish man and woman in many aspects. One particular lesson from Chanukah candles—which our Sages say are never nullified—includes that their lessons are eternal for every Jew everywhere and at all times: to increase in ner mitzvah (the candle of a mitzvah) and Torah or (the light of Torah), and the Holy One continues to increase His blessings in all that is needed.
Thank you for the good news that you have found the place where your father’s uncle of blessed memory and also your grandmother’s father-in-law Harav Dovid Tzvi z"l are buried. Certainly all necessary steps will be taken to erect the monuments, and do not hesitate to send me the expenses when you inform me of the amount. Of course, the sooner this is done the better. Thank you in advance for sharing more good news about this as well.
