Through your husband, Haraha"ch vavac"h iy"a nu"n involved in tzt"z etc. Moreh Menachem Shmuel David HaLevi, your check for tzedakah has arrived in connection with your decision, which concerns more than maaser. Surely you are aware of the greatness of the merit of the mitzvah of tzedakah in general, and especially that it has arrived during these auspicious days between Yud and Yud Tes Kislev—the days of redemption of the Alter Rebbe and his son the Mitteler Rebbe. Reminding us of the merits for which they were redeemed—which was also a redemption for each one of us for all generations—they emphasize that especially the merit of the mitzvah of tzedakah stood by them.
From this it is understood that the mitzvah of tzedakah is one of the ways through which every single person can be redeemed from all undesirable matters and always be with joy and gladness of heart. And this brings additional blessing and success in all good matters, especially to have true nachas—Jewish-Chassidic nachas—from each one of your children and from all together, with health and expansiveness both materially and spiritually.
