ובמיוחד אשר ה' אלקי צבאות ינחנו בתפקידו הכי אחראי, שבודאי
כשנותנים
למישהו תפקיד ניתנים הכוחות להוציא התפקיד לפועל על הצד הכי טוב, ומכל שכן תפקיד הנוגע לצבא ישראל וכלשון הכתוב "כי ה' אלקיכם ההולך עמכם להלחם לכם עם אויביכם להושיע אתכם" (דברים כ, ד) ואומר "כי ה' אלקיך מתהלך בקרב מחנך להצילך ולתת אויביך לפניך והי' מחנך קדוש" (שם כג, טו) ועל אחת כמה וכמה בשעה של מתח וכולי, שרק יראת העונש ופעולות תגמול ביכולתה למנוע חבלנות וכו'.
והמברך את עמו ישראל בשלום ישים שלום טובה וברכה עלינו על כל ישראל בארצנו הק' ובכל מקום שהם.

The members of the Kfar Chabad committee who came here for Rosh Hashanah conveyed regards from you and from your son, may he live.
I hereby express to you and all yours my heartfelt wishes for the coming new year for good and blessing, in the traditional and sacred formula: may you be inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year.
Especially that Hashem, G‑d of Hosts, should guide you in your most responsible position. Certainly, when someone is given a role, they are also given the strength to carry it out in the best possible way—how much more so when it concerns the army of Israel. As it is written: 'Ki Hashem Elokeichem HaHolech Imachem Lehilachem Lachem Im Oyveichem Lehoshia Eschem' ("For Hashem your G‑d goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to save you") (Devarim 20:4), and it says: 'Ki Hashem Elokecha Mithalech Bekerev Machanecha LeHatzilecha U'Letet Oyvecha Lefanecha Vehaya Machanecha Kadosh' ("For Hashem your G‑d walks in the midst of your camp to save you and give your enemies before you; therefore your camp shall be holy") (ibid. 23:15).
All the more so at a time of tension etc., when only fear of punishment and acts of retaliation can prevent sabotage etc.
May He Who blesses His people Israel with peace place peace, goodness, and blessing upon us and all Israel in our holy land and wherever they are.
