גראַדע מיט עטלעכע טעג צוריק איז געווען דער יאָרצייט פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר (יו"ד שבט), דער גרינדער פון די בית רבקה מוסדות, וואָס האָט אַזויפיל צייט און ענערגיע אָפּגעגעבן פאַר זייער גרינדונג און אַנטוויקלונג. יעדער איינער און איינע פון אונז וואָס האָט זיך פאַראייניגט מיט דעם זכרון פון בעל-ההילולא האָט אוודאי באַנייט און פאַרדאָפּלט די גוטע החלטות צו גיין אין זיינע פוסטריט און פאָרזעצן זיין הייליגע אַרבעט בכלל, און פאַר בית רבקה בפרט, אין אַ פאַרגרעסערטער מאָס.

In response to the notification about the upcoming annual Melaveh Malkah on Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh Parshas Yisro, may the Alm-ghty help that this event—which is the only public undertaking throughout the year—should be with great success both materially and spiritually.
Certainly each and every participant will bring with her to the Melaveh Malkah a significant measure of inspiration from this Shabbat's Torah portion, whose inner point is Matan Torah (the Giving of the Torah) and Kabbalas HaTorah (acceptance of the Torah).
The connection and special merit of Jewish women and daughters to Kabbalas HaTorah is indicated in the Torah itself, as the Alm-ghty commanded Moshe Rabbeinu to first speak with the women about accepting the Torah, and only afterward with the men. Through this, the Torah underscores that the Jewish woman—the Akeres HaBayis (foundation of the home; Beis Yaakov)—occupies a very important place in ensuring and strengthening the daily Torah life of our people!
It is understood that in order to fulfill this task in its fullest measure, there must first be proper Torah education for Jewish daughters. From this it is clear how vitally necessary are Beis Rivka schools for girls.
Just a few days ago was the yahrzeit of Chaf Beis Shevat (Yud Shevat), that of my father-in-law Admor (the founder of Beis Rivka institutions), who dedicated so much time and energy to their founding and development. Each one of us who united with his memory on his yahrzeit has surely renewed and doubled our good resolutions to follow in his footsteps and continue his holy work in general—and for Beis Rivka in particular—in an increased measure.
Today's date, Rosh HaShanah LaIlanot (New Year for Trees), reminds us again that haAdam etz hasadeh (a person is like a tree). Just as it is vital for a tree and its future fruit that it receive necessary nourishment and care while still very young, so too—and even more so—is this true for a Jewish child.
I hope that all participants and friends of Beis Rivka will make a special effort to provide full support for maintaining and expanding Beis Rivka so that we can accept more students and educate each one to be an influencer, guide, educator, and Akeres HaBayis—according to pure holiness.
