It was pleasant for me to receive your letter through Mrs. Rachel tichyeh Donin, and I especially enjoyed hearing that you greet everyone who approaches you warmly and pay special attention to Mrs. Donin in particular.
It is well known that Ahavas Yisrael—especially as expressed in actual deeds—is one of the foundations of our Torah of life, particularly as explained and emphasized in the teachings of Chassidus.
May it be G‑d's will that for many years you will be able to do good for our fellow Jews with joy and a good heart.
This is especially relevant as we have just come from the time of our rejoicing and its conclusion on Simchas Torah; the purpose of every festival is to take a lesson and added strength for good actions in the spirit and content of the festival for all the days that follow.
