בנועם נודעתי אשר כת"ר הגיע לשנות שיבה וכבוד עשו לו ידידיו ומעריציו במסיבה מיוחדת.
והנני לאחל לכת"ר שילך משיבה טובה לגבורות ועוד יותר, וינצל כשרונותיו שחונן בהם על ידי ההשגחה העליונה והאפשריות להפצת היהדות המסורתית בלי פשרות בעירו ובקהלתו ובכל מקום שידו מגעת, ויעשה ויפעול מתוך שמחה כהוראת המורה הגדול הרמב"ם, ובפרט כמודגש ומבואר גודל ענין שמחה של מצוה בתורת החסידות, ובאריכות בספרי רבינו הזקן בעל התניא והשו"ע, שהשנה היא שנת הק"נ להסתלקותו.

With pleasure I learned that your honor has reached old age, and that your friends and admirers honored you with a special gathering.
I wish your honor to go from good old age to even greater strength, and to utilize the talents granted to you by Divine Providence and the opportunities for spreading uncompromised traditional Judaism in your city, community, and wherever your influence reaches. May you act and accomplish this with joy, as instructed by the great teacher Rambam—especially as emphasized and explained regarding the greatness of joy in performing mitzvot in Chassidus, at length in the works of our Rebbe the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch—this year being the 150th anniversary of his passing.
