Likkutei Torah Shir HaShirim 31a. – According to Sefer HaRefuah: the right chamber of the heart does not generate new blood (for it comes there from the left chamber, where it gathers from the body); rather, what is renewed in it is a portion of air that gives life to a person – oxygen. See Shem HaGedolim by the Chida, section Sefarim, end of letter Gimmel. This is also in Pesachim 94a and there. Likkutei Torah Emor 34a. Part of this was printed in Likkutei Biurim on Tanya vol. 1 p. 87 and completed according to my handwritten notes.
This letter is to Moreinu Harav Mordechai Dov Altayn, and was written on the sheet of his letter from Thursday of Parshas Shoftim. Additional letters to him – above vol. 12 p. Mem; vol. 6 p. Taf Kuf Tzadi Vav.
See: In his letter: In Tanya ch. 9 it is written that the dwelling place of the animal soul is in the heart’s left chamber which is full of blood, while the dwelling place of the G‑dly soul is in the brain in the head and from there spreads to all limbs and also into the heart’s right chamber which has no blood. Seemingly this is difficult for me because there is blood in all chambers of the heart.
