לאחרי הפסק נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מיום החמישי,
ולפלא שאינו מזכיר אודות יום ההילולא של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל, עשירי בשבט, שבטח צוין על ידו יום סגולה זה ע"י הוספה בלימוד תורת בעל ההילולא והליכה באורחותיו וכו',
ונעם לי להודע מהצלחת פעולתו בהנוגע לחלב ישראל במחנם הט' ובפרט ע"פ סיפור הידוע מרבותינו נשיאינו, איך שחלב ישראל דוקא נוגע לחיזוק האמונה, וחלב שחלבו עכו"ם ואין ישראל רואהו, מביא ח"ו לספיקות באמונה, וק"ל.
ויהי רצון שתהי' הצלחה מלאה בהאמור וזכות הרבים מסייע אותו וכל אלה המשתדלים בזה.
בברכה לבשו"ט בהאמור וגם בעניניו הפרטים.

After a pause, I was pleased to receive your letter from Thursday. It is surprising that you did not mention the day of the hilulah of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel—Yud Shevat—which you surely marked as an auspicious day by increasing your study of the teachings of the one whose hilulah it is and by following in his ways, etc. I was also pleased to hear about your successful activities regarding Chalev Yisrael in Camp Nine, especially in light of the well-known story from our Rebbeim about how specifically Chalev Yisrael is connected to strengthening faith, while milk milked by non-Jews without Jewish supervision can unfortunately lead to doubts in faith. This is clear and understood.
May it be G‑d's will that there be complete success in all this, and may the merit of the many assist you and all those who strive in this matter.

P.S. Regarding your question about when to cut your son's hair (upsherin), whose birthday is on Erev Pesach: it is not advisable to delay it beyond its time; rather, do the haircut on the night preceding or on Erev Pesach itself.
