Shalom u'Vrachah! [Supplement to the letter of 14 Elul above, Vol. 3, 5730] The piece of handkerchief of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, is surely in your possession and you will return it to me, as discussed. Thank you very much.

It would be appropriate for you to accept the child of Moreinu HaRav... for child protection, as surely there are no reasons preventing this.

A facsimile of the handwritten note is in Sefer Zikaron Tiferes Moshe Yitzchak (after p. 124). The letter is addressed to Moharam"y Hecht. Additional letters to him are above at Z'tatmad and referenced in the notes there.
