To our friends, the Temimim and Anash in the holy community of Tel Aviv. Shalom u'Vrachah!

This is the third year since my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita, founded Kehot Publication Society, whose purpose is to publish various books and pamphlets, such as books of Nigleh, Chassidus, matters strengthening Judaism, educational books, and reading materials in pure holiness.

Through Kehot, the following are published: Otzar HaChassidim - Lubavitch series, Machane Yisrael, and the Merkaz L'Inyanei Chinuch. Surely you are aware of those books and pamphlets that have already appeared with G‑d's help through Kehot, and it is impossible to estimate the great benefit these printings have brought to strengthening Torah and Judaism.

But just as there is an obligation here—to strive for publishing the books in the best possible way—so too there is a sacred duty upon all Temimim and Anash shiyichyu, who observe the holy instructions of my revered father-in-law the Rebbe shlita in all he commands, to strive in their places of residence to distribute these books. This distribution means: a) to merit more and more people with studying and reading these books; b) to increase financial income thereby making it easier to publish more books.

Although each member of Anash is obligated to do this privately according to his ability, the greatest success in distribution can only be achieved through organized work in every city and region.

Therefore we turn to you with a suggestion: gather together to discuss this matter and organize a special committee that will work on distributing these books in Tel Aviv and its surroundings in the best possible order. This should be done so that not even one person who could possibly be influenced to read suitable books for him—each according to his level—will miss out.

We are confident that you will recognize the necessity of this matter as we do, and will soon inform us about bringing this idea from potential into action.
