ובמה שחושדין אותו במה שאין בו, - העצה לזה להתרחק מהענין עד קצה האחרון, ז.א. אפילו במקום שיש רק צל של ספק שאולי יש לאחר חלק ושייכות בדבר.
לכתבו בהנוגע לענין שידוך, צריך לעשות בדרך הטבע ובדרכי צניעות, ולחזק בטחונו בהשי"ת שהוא מזווג זיווגים והמשגיח בהשגחה פרטית על כל או"א שינחהו בטוב לפניו,
מהנכון אשר יבדקו את התפילין שלו, וכן אשר בכל יום חול קודם הנחת התפילין יפריש פרוטות אחדות לצדקה.

In response to your letter from the 26th of Tammuz.
At an auspicious time you will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzal (may the memory of the righteous and holy be a blessing for life in the World to Come), in accordance with the content of your letter.
Regarding being suspected of something you have not done—the advice is to distance yourself from the matter to the utmost degree; that is, even where there is only a shadow of a doubt that perhaps someone else has a share or connection to it.
Concerning your letter about shidduchim: you should proceed in a natural way and with modesty, and strengthen your trust in Hashem Who arranges matches and oversees every individual with Divine Providence so that He will guide you well. It is proper to have your tefillin checked, and also that every weekday before putting on tefillin you set aside a few coins for tzedakah.
With blessing for good news in all the above, in the name of my revered Rebbe shlita.
