תקותי חזקה שהחוברת אודותה כותב הוגהה ככל הדרוש, וכמו שכתבתי זה כ"פ.
במ"ש אודות המבצע דמצה שמורה, מה שכתבתי בזה במכתבי הקדום... מובן ממאמר חז"ל יותר ממה שבעה"ב נותן וכו' ובפרט בהנוגע למצה שמורה, וכמו שידוע בטח גם לו סיפור כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר ממה שנראה בכו"כ תלמידים שינוי המהות ע"י התעסקות באפיית מצה שמורה.
בכל אופן - כל כתיבה כהנ"ל במכתבי, אין כוונתי בהנוגע להעבר כי אם לתוספת אומץ בהנוגע להווה ועתיד הקרוב וגם לעתיד הרחוק, והרי זה ברור לכל אשר ככל שיפעלו בעניני תורתנו ומצותי' שארוכה מארץ מדה ורחבה מני ים, ורחבה מצותך מאד, יש לפעול בזה כהנה וכהנה עד לבלי ערך וכמובן מהנ"ל שהרי ככל שלא תגדל מדת הגבול אינו בערך לרחבה מאד.
בברכה לבשו"ט בכל הנ"ל ולקבלת התורה בשמחה ובפנימיות.

I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 23rd of Iyar and its enclosure. My strong hope is that the pamphlet you wrote about has been edited as required, as I have written several times before.
Regarding what you wrote about the shmurah matzah campaign—what I wrote about this in my previous letter... It is understood from our Sages' saying that more than the host gives etc., especially concerning shmurah matzah. And it is surely known to you as well the story of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, about how he saw in several students a change in their essence through involvement in baking shmurah matzah.
In any case—every such statement in my letters is not intended regarding the past but rather to add strength regarding the present and near future, as well as for the distant future. And it is clear to all that the more one acts in matters of our Torah and its mitzvos—which are longer than the land and wider than the sea—Your commandment is exceedingly broad (Tehillim 119:96)—one should act ever more so without limit. As is understood from the above: for as long as one does not increase the measure of limitation, it cannot compare to its great breadth.
