וכידוע פתגם רבותינו נשיאינו צי אז גוט איז גוט, איז בעסער ניט בעסער (בתמי').

In response: I received your prompt letter from the 24th of Adar and the previous one. Thank G‑d for the miracles that were tangibly witnessed, and may it be His will that from now on, it will be as hinted by the name of the coming month—Nissan: Nisei Nissim (miracles upon miracles; see Berachos 57a beginning of page and Chiddushei Aggados there). That is, not miracles to save from unfortunate events like those you describe, but rather miracles in pure goodness itself. As is known from our Rebbeim's saying: 'When it's good, it's good; it's better not to be better' (in Temimim). And to go from good to better both materially and spiritually, especially in these days—the conclusion and seal of the month of Adar and entry into Nissan—a joining of redemption to redemption.
