בהמשך למכתבי הקודם, בא הנני על ענין שהזמן גרמא הימים שלפני י"ט כסלו, אשר בלשון רבנו הזקן, הוא יום הילולא רבא דרבנו הקדוש זי"ע ויום גאולת רבנו הזקן, אשר בלשון כ"ק אדמו"ר, אביו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, הוא החג אשר פדה בשלום נפשנו ואור וחיות נפשנו ניתן לנו.
לעורר עוה"פ ע"ד העבודה בהפצת המעינות חוצה, כלשון הבעש"ט באגה"ק שלו הידועה.
אשר אם על כאו"א שזכה לטעום מתורת החסידות, מוטל חוב (זכות) קדוש זה, עאכו"כ אלו אשר השגחה העליונה חוננה אותם בהשפעה על חוג רחב, שבהנוגע אליהם הדרישה וההכרח הוא פי כמה וכמה.
ובפרט כשהעדר הפעולה בזה, ואפילו כשבסגנון חז"ל כדבעי למיעבד לא עביד, מתפרש בתור הסכם ח"ו להמנגדים ומבלבלים וכו'.
ובהכירי המרץ שלו באם רק ירצה לנצלו במילואו, תקותי חזקה שפעולותיו בשטח האמור תצליחנה להפיץ המעינות ועד לחוצה.
ויהי רצון שבעגלא דידן יקוים היעוד (מתאים למענה מלכא משיחא, אשר באגרת הבעש"ט האמורה) דקאתי מר.
תקותי אשר יסלח לי על בואי בכתובים בהערה האמורה, והעיקר - אשר אתבשר טוב בכל הנ"ל.

Following my previous letter, I now address a matter that is timely—the days preceding Yud Tes Kislev. In the words of the Alter Rebbe, it is "the great day of celebration for our holy Rebbe of blessed memory," and also "the day of redemption of our master the Alter Rebbe." In the words of the Rebbe (father of the Previous Rebbe), it is "the festival on which our soul was redeemed in peace and light and vitality were given to our soul."
I wish to once again arouse attention regarding the work of spreading the wellsprings outward, as expressed by the Baal Shem Tov in his well-known letter. If every individual who has merited to taste from Chassidus has this sacred obligation (and privilege), how much more so those whom Divine Providence has granted influence over a broad circle—regarding them, the demand and necessity are many times greater.
Especially since lack of activity in this area—even if it is only that one does not act as required by our Sages—can be interpreted as agreement G‑d forbid with those who oppose or disrupt.
Knowing your energy—if you only wish to utilize it fully—I have strong hope that your activities in this area will succeed in spreading the wellsprings even to the outside.
May it be G‑d's will that speedily in our days will be fulfilled the prophecy (in accordance with Moshiach's answer cited in that Baal Shem Tov letter) that "the master will come."
I hope you will forgive me for writing this note; most importantly—that I should hear good news about all the above.
