עס האט מיר געפרייט צו באקומען א גרוס פון איך דורך הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ עוסק בצ"צ וכו' מו"ה זלמן שי' יפה. דער פ"נ וועט געלייענט ווערן אויפן ציון פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בעת רצון, לרפואה שלימה ולהמצטרך בגו"ר. ויהי רצון אז איר זאלט האבן גוטע נייעס צו שרייבן.
בפרט אז מיר געפינען זיך אין די ימי סגולה פון דעם חודש כסלו, מיט דעם יום הגאולה פון אלטן רבי'ן בעל התניא והשלחן ערוך, און די ימי חנוכה מיט ועל הנסים כו'.
אויך איז היינטיקס יאר בכלל א סגולה יאר, ווען עס ווערט 200 יאר זינט די הסתלקות-הילולא פון בעל שם טוב, וואס ווי עס שטייט אין ספרים ווערט אין דער צייט פון הסתלקות אנטפלעקט אין א פארשטארקטער מאס די גרויסע ליכטיקייט פון בעל ההילולא.
זעלבסטפארשטענדליך איז דער ענין פון דערמאנונג און זכרון בא אידן אז עס זאל זיין נזכרים ונעשים, ד.ה. אז עס זאל אראפ במעשה בפועל אלץ ווי עס דארף אפגעטאן ווערן אונטערן איינדרוק און השפעה פון דעם ענין.
עס איז באוואוסט, אז דער בעל שם טוב האט אנגעהויבן זיין הייליקע ארבעט, אלס באהעלפער, טראגנדיק אויף די הענט קליינע קינדערלעך אין חדר, און לערנען מיט זיי ברכות, קריאת שמע, אמן, יש"ר, אד"ג. גלייכצייטיק האט דער בעל שם טוב אנטפלעקט און געלערנט די טיפסטע און אינערלעכסטע ענינים און תורה און פנימיות התורה, ווי זיי דארפן זיך אויסדריקן אין טאג-טעגלעכן לעבן, אויפן יסוד פון אהבת השם, אהבת התורה און אהבת ישראל.
השם יתברך זאל געבן, אז יעדער איינער פון אונז זאל ממשיך זיין די אלע אויבנדערמאנטע ענינים אין טאג-טעגלעכן לעבן אין דער פולסטער מאס, וואס דערמיט שאפט מען אויך די צנורות וכלים אראפצוברענגען די ברכות השי"ת אין דער פולסטער מאס, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

It gave me pleasure to receive a greeting from you through Havavac"h iy"a nu"n, one who is involved with tzt"z etc., Zalman Yafeh. The pidyon nefesh will be read at the resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, at an auspicious time, for a complete recovery and for all that is needed in good and revealed ways. May it be G‑d's will that you have good news to write about.
This is especially so since we find ourselves in these auspicious days of the month of Kislev—with the day of redemption of the Alter Rebbe, author of Tanya and Shulchan Aruch—and the days of Chanukah with 'Al HaNissim' (the prayer for miracles), etc.
This year in general is a special year as it marks 200 years since the passing-hilula of the Baal Shem Tov. As it is written in sefarim (holy books), at the time of a tzaddik's passing there is revealed in greater measure the great light of the one whose hilula it is.
It goes without saying that mentioning and remembering among Jews should lead to 'they are remembered and done,' meaning that everything should be brought into actual deed as it ought to be done—under the impression and influence of this matter.
It is well known that the Baal Shem Tov began his holy work as a helper, carrying little children in his arms to cheder and teaching them blessings, Kriat Shema, Amen, Yehei Shmei Rabbah (May His great Name be blessed), Adonai Hu HaElokim (the L‑rd is G‑d). At the same time, the Baal Shem Tov revealed and taught the deepest and innermost matters in Torah and its inner dimension—how they must be expressed in daily life on a foundation of love for G‑d, love for Torah, and love for Israel.
May Hashem Yisbarach grant that each one of us continues all these aforementioned matters in daily life to their fullest extent. Through this we also create channels and vessels to draw down Hashem's blessings in their fullest measure—both materially and spiritually together.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that inspiration from our spiritual leaders must lead to practical action rooted in love for G‑d, Torah, and fellow Jews. By living this way daily—especially during auspicious times—we open ourselves to receive abundant blessings both physically and spiritually.
