ותקותי אשר לעונת הלמודים החדשה הי' שנוי ממשי לטוב. ועכ"פ בטוחני אשר כ' ממשיך השתדלותו בזה במרץ המתאים, ובפרט בידעו טענות הצד שכנגד, בטח עשה ועושה כל הדרוש שיסתתמו מעצמם, והרי כנראה ממכתבו עיקר הטענה הוא הוצאות הכסף שבזה, וכשיש תכנית לקמץ בהוצאות במקום האפשר הרי מבטלים טענה זו.
ובטח למותר להדגיש שאפילו אם אי אפשר להציל כולו, הרי הצלת חלק גם כן כדאי, כוונתי לכתות הגדולות בגיל לכל הפחות. וזכות הרבים צ התלמידים והתלמידות צ מסייעתו להצליח סוף סוף להציל גם כולו.
ולקראת השנה החדשה הבאה עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה ולברכה, הנני מאחל לכ' ולכל הנלוים אליו ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

My hope is that with the new school term there has been a real improvement for the better. In any case, I am certain that you are continuing your efforts in this with appropriate energy, especially since you know the arguments of the opposing side. Surely you have done and are doing everything necessary so that these arguments will fall away on their own. As it appears from your letter, the main argument is about monetary expenses; when there is a plan to economize wherever possible, this argument is nullified.
It is certainly unnecessary to emphasize that even if it is not possible to save everything, saving even part—my intention being at least the older classes by age—is also worthwhile. The merit of the many—the students—will help you succeed in ultimately saving everything.
As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I wish you and all those connected to you a blessing for being inscribed and sealed for a good and sweet year both materially and spiritually together.
