והתירוץ הוא בדברי עצמו, שעסק בכו"כ ענינים ובמילא מובן שאת"ל לא עסק מספיק אפילו באחד מהם, ובשנים כתקונם הרי די הי' לכל אחד עסק אחד בענינים גשמים ועד"ז בענינים רוחנים, ומובן וגם פשוט - שבתקופת שנים שאינן כתקונן בעקבתא דמשיחא וכדברי רז"ל בזה, מוכרח שאין לצמצם פעולה בא' ברוחניות ועד"ז גם בנוגע פרנסה גשמית, אבל ביחד עם זה מובן שצריך להתעסק בעיקר בענין אחד וע"ד מרז"ל אבוך במאי הוי זהיר טפי, שבעסק זה יתעסק טפי, ובשאר עסקנותו יתעסק ע"ד הרגיל או עוד פחות מזה [כוונתי רק לעורר ולעודד אחרים, שהם יתעסקו בזה כעין מקצוע שלהם, ומזמן לזמן לדרוש מאתם להוסיף אומץ בעבודתם, ולדרוש כ"פ ובסגנון חז"ל עד מאה פעמים, אבל לא לשכוח על עיקר עסקו]. ואם, עכ"פ מכאן ולהבא, יסתדר באופן האמור, בטח יראה הצלחה לא רק בעיקר העסק, אלא גם באותן הענינים שבהם הוא רק מעורר דורש ומתחיל. ויהי רצון שיהי' זה בקרוב.

מובן שכיון שעתה המצב שהתחיל בכמה ענינים, ובמילא סומכין עליו, הרי אין כוונת האמור לעיל - שיזניח תיכף כל הענינים מלבד ענין אחד או שנים, שאז חשש גדול שיתבטלו שאר הענינים, כיון שעד עתה הורגלו שהוא הנושאם בעול. אלא שימשיך (אריינציהען) בכל ענין וענין משאר הענינים - אחד או שנים המתאימים לזה, וירעים עליהם שמוכרח הדבר שיקחו זה על שכמם, כיון שמחסר הוא מעסקנותו העיקרית על ידי העסקנות גם בענין פלוני. ויש לקוות שבמשך הזמן לא ארוך - ימצא עסקנים מסורים לכמה מאותם השטחים, ובאופן שבהם עשה עד עתה, וכנ"ל.

The answer lies in your own words: you have been involved in several matters, so it is understandable that if we say you have not devoted enough time to even one of them, and if two people were to properly focus on each matter—one on material concerns and similarly one on spiritual matters—that would suffice. It is clear and simple that in a period of years that are not as they should be, during the footsteps of Mashiach as our Sages say about this time, it is necessary not to limit one's activities to only one area in spirituality—and similarly regarding material livelihood. However, at the same time it is understood that one must primarily focus on a single matter, as our Sages said: 'Your father—what was he most careful about?' In this area he should be especially diligent; with his other involvements he should act as usual or even less than usual. [My intention is only to inspire and encourage others so that they take up these areas as their specialty, and from time to time ask them to strengthen their work—asking repeatedly and in the language of our Sages up to a hundred times—but not to forget his main occupation.]
If, at least from now on, you arrange things as described above, you will surely see success not only in your main area but also in those matters where you are only inspiring or initiating others. May it be G‑d's will that this happens soon.

P.S. It is understood that since the current situation is that you have already started several projects and people rely on you for them, my above words do not mean you should immediately abandon all areas except for one or two—since there is a great concern that the other projects would collapse because until now they have become accustomed to relying on you. Rather, continue (orient) each of the other projects—one or two suitable people for each—and impress upon them that it is essential they take responsibility for these areas since your main involvement will be reduced due to your focus elsewhere. Hopefully over a short period you will find dedicated activists for many of these fields who will operate as you have until now.
