Shalom u'Vrachah!

It is clear that there is no basis for this at all, as I have written to some that in general I do not see any benefit in holding a grievance. Sometimes there may be pain from undesirable conduct or from not utilizing the blessing and success that Hashem gives; it pains the heart that things could be better than they are and because of trivial matters one does not make use of Hashem's blessings.

From this it is understood that holding a grievance is completely contrary to what should be done—and certainly anything more than a grievance. However, in your case there is room for the pain mentioned above. But this has no connection to reading into my letter things I did not write or thinking that because of this an answer is withheld (which most often is due to many preoccupations).

What I mean by this—and I believe I have already written to you—is the matter of a sheitel in your home. As I have already hinted to you, this matter does not change and certainly is not corrected by ignoring it; Hashem knows all secrets. The pain connected with this is understandable according to the holy Zohar (brought in later authorities on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim), part III 126a: "A woman should cover herself with the splendor of her home" (from which it is understood how much more so outside the home). If she does so... her children will be considered important etc., blessed with all blessings from above and below, with wealth, with children and grandchildren—see there well.

I want to emphasize again that here there is not even a trace of a grievance—only frustration and pain, which increases when reflecting on the self-sacrifice required for proper conduct regarding what is lost; even more so considering the place where you currently find yourself, where such good conduct can influence many Jewish families to begin following suit and go from strength to strength.

May it be G‑d's will that each of us will ultimately see how Hashem bestows blessing and success both materially and spiritually, and may we make all necessary vessels to receive and utilize these blessings in full measure.

And coming from the month of redemption—Tammuz—the redemption of our Rebbe and leader (and "the body follows the head"), may each one of us be redeemed speedily from all confusing matters so we can serve Hashem with joy and gladness of heart.

With blessing for good news as above.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that grievances are unhelpful; instead, focus on positive actions like observing proper standards such as wearing a sheitel at home. This brings blessings for oneself and influences others toward greater spiritual growth.
