Shalom u'Vrachah!

As I understand it, the real reason it is difficult for him to be under supervision all day and to be connected to a set schedule is because, apparently, he did not have this at home. From this it is clear that one should see to it—pleasantly and peacefully—that he should remain there until the learning period begins. Certainly, the longer he stays, the easier it will become for him to adapt; this can have a lasting effect for the entire year in terms of accepting discipline and adjusting to order—not only during school hours but also at home—which is most important for a child.

Psychologically as well, one must accept that if he knows it has been decided that he must stay there, he will also set his mind to remain. On the other hand, from your writing it appears that through telephone conversations he hopes to free himself from camp and from discipline altogether.

Regarding what you write about medical treatment—since this is something new, hopefully it will be done with the utmost caution; that is, checking every few days should be the minimum of "a few" days and not the maximum.

May it be G‑d's will that in all of the above you will report good news and together with your wife may you enjoy health and peace of mind and have true chassidic nachas from your children.

With blessing for good news in all of the above.

Summary
