בשביעת רצון קבלתי מכתבו מכ"ז תמוז, שכותב מהחלטתו טובה בהנוגע לסדרו לשנה הבע"ל. והשי"ת יעזור שתראה רוב הצלחה בלימוד תורתנו הק' שנקראת גם כן תורת חיים, הכוונה שעל ידה יודעים איך לחיות ועל ידה השי"ת מצליח שהחיים יהיו מאושרים בגשמיות וברוחניות, והלימוד יהי' כמאמר חז"ל - תלמוד המביא לידי מעשה, ויהי' באופן דמוסיף והולך, וברכות השי"ת - ג"כ באופן דמוסיף והולך, ואקוה שדוגמתך יפעול על חבריך להוסיף בתורה ומצות, שאז גם זכות הרבים מסייעתו, וגם בענינים הפרטים.

I received your letter from the 27th of Tammuz with satisfaction, in which you write about your good decision regarding your schedule for the coming year. May Hashem help you see great success in learning our holy Torah, which is also called the Torah of Life—meaning that through it we know how to live, and through it Hashem grants that life will be happy both materially and spiritually. May your learning be as our Sages say—study that leads to action—and may it be in a manner of continuous increase. May Hashem's blessings also increase continuously. I hope that your example will influence your friends to add in Torah and mitzvos, for then the merit of the many assists him, as well as in personal matters.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Torah study is not only for knowledge but for living a fulfilled life. By increasing one’s own learning and inspiring others to do the same, one merits greater Divine blessing both personally and collectively.
