ובמ"ש אודות סדר לימוד, הנקודה הכללית בזה מתאים להודעת חז"ל, במקום שלבו חפץ, והרי תוה"ק רחבה מני ים, הלכה ואגדה כו' יש למצוא מקומות שלבבו של הנ"ל חפץ בהם, ובודאי למותר לבאר שעכ"פ אחד הלימודים צ"ל בתורת חסידות חב"ד אשר רחבה היא כנ"ל וגם שם ימצא ענינים שלבו חפץ, וכן לעוררו ע"ד הקריאה ולימוד בשיחות, ובטח השגת הנ"ל מספיקה די ויותר שיקראם בעצמו ורק דבר הקשה יביא לפניו ולפני כל אלו העוסקים בתורת החסידות בקביעות.

Regarding what you wrote about your study schedule, the general point here aligns with the teaching of our Sages: "In the place his heart desires." Since our holy Torah is broader than the sea—halachah, aggadah, etc.—one can find areas that truly speak to his heart. It goes without saying that at least one area of study should be in Chabad Chassidus, which is also vast as mentioned above, and there too he will find topics that resonate with him. Likewise, he should be encouraged to read and learn from the sichos (talks), and surely his understanding is sufficient for him to read them on his own; only if something is difficult should he bring it before me or before those who regularly engage in the study of Chassidus.
