Blessings and peace!
In response to your letter from Erev Shabbat Kodesh Bamidbar and the previous one.
It seems I have already written to you, but in any case this is the instruction of our Sages: one should not interfere between a man and his wife, especially in this case where both are G‑d-fearing and observant of mitzvos. Even if there are some details that need correction or at least improvement, it is much better to influence indirectly, with pleasantness and peaceful ways specifically. Besides being the proper approach, for successful influence it is evident that indirectness and closeness achieve more than anger or strict insistence on justice...
May it be G‑d's will that for many good years you will derive much true nachas—Jewish chassidic nachas—from all your offspring.
With blessings for good news.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that when dealing with marital disputes, indirect influence through pleasantness and peace is both more appropriate and more effective than direct confrontation or harshness.
