נכון הענין וכמשמע גם [מ]מכתבם, דהנחת אבן הפינה[1] ה"ז בגדר חרישה ולכל היותר זריעה, ובעיקר העבודה באה עכשיו, כי הרי סו"ס העיקר הוא השגת אמצעים בפועל להבנין, וכנראה במוחש כל שימעט ההפסק בין העבודה להחגיגה ה"ז משובח.
לפלא שמקצרים כ"כ בתיאור החגיגה והתועדות שלאח"ז ואפשר ימלאו בהזדמנות הבאה...
באם עומד על הפרק עריכת חוברת בקשר עם הנחת אבן הפנה אפשר יש מקום לקשר זה עם יובל הששים להתיסדות תו"ת (מובן שזהו גם תלוי בתוכן הנואמים), ואז אפשר יש לעורר ע"ד הדפסה בהנ"ל גם ע"ד הכנוס דחדש אלול והנואמים.

In response to your urgent letters from the 15th, 17th, and 18th of Iyar with their enclosures: The matter is correct and as is also implied from your letter, that laying the cornerstone is like plowing or at most sowing; the main work comes now. After all, ultimately what matters most is actually obtaining resources for construction. It is evident that the less time there is between the work and the celebration, the better.
It is surprising that you were so brief in describing the celebration and subsequent farbrengen—perhaps you will fill this in on another occasion...
If producing a booklet regarding the laying of the cornerstone is being considered, perhaps it can be connected with the sixtieth anniversary of Tomchei Temimim's founding (of course this also depends on what content will be included by the speakers). In that case, it may also be appropriate to mention in this publication about the Elul month gathering and its speakers.
