In response to your recent letters of the 15th, 17th, and 18th of Iyar with their enclosures: The matter is as understood also from your letter—that laying the cornerstone is akin to plowing or at most sowing; the main work begins now. Ultimately, what matters most is securing practical means for construction. It is clear that the less time elapses between the work and the celebration, the better.

It is surprising that you wrote so little about the celebration and subsequent farbrengen; perhaps you will elaborate on another occasion.

If producing a booklet in connection with laying the cornerstone is being considered, it may be appropriate to link this with the sixtieth anniversary of Tomchei Temimim’s founding (of course, this depends on what the speakers will address). In that case, it may also be worthwhile to mention in print both this event and the Elul gathering and its speakers.
