I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 6th of Marcheshvan.

No doubt you have already received the answer concerning the questionnaire by telephone, because of the shortness of time.

As to what you write about introducing the recitation of the monthly Tehillim portion in the various classes of the school: although it is known, and we have heard many times, how great a thing the recitation of this Tehillim portion is, nevertheless one must take into account, in each and every class, how much time saying the whole portion will take, since this time will be missing from their holy studies, which are limited enough as it is. Therefore, although in the upper classes, whose reading in the Holy Tongue is fluent, the above should be introduced, in the classes below them one must consider the matter, as said; and in the very youngest classes one should be content with saying a single psalm from the daily portion of the monthly cycle.

And may G‑d, blessed be He, grant you success in raising students who study תורה תמימה "a perfect Torah" (see Tehillim 19:8) with the fear of Heaven.
