במענה על מכתבו מכ"ג שבט והקודמו, ונתעכב המענה שלי מפני ריבוי הטרדות.
נעם לי לקרות בו ע"ד השתדלותו לארגן קבוצת בחורים בתל אביב ללימוד תניא.
ואף שכפי שכותב חפשים הם לע"ע, מובטחים אנו בכח תורתנו הק' תורת חיים שגדול תלמודה שמביא לידי מעשה, אף שכמובן לא בכל האנשים שוה הוא זמן זה שבין הלימוד והמעשה, אבל סוף הענין לבוא. ומובן שאם ידברו עמהם גם ע"ד המעשה נוסף על הלימוד ימהרו את התכלית האמורה, ואשרי חלקם של כל אלו המשתדלים בזה ובכדומה לזה.
במ"ש אודות מצבו הגשמי, מובן שאין כלל להתרשם מזה ואין הענין אלא דבר עובר, וככל שהוא וזוגתו תי' יהיו חזקים יותר בבטחונם בבורא עולם ומנהיגו יתקרבו ברכות הבורא בפועל ובאופן הנראה גם לעיני בשר, ובפרט שהרי הם עוסקים בהכנת כלי הברכה הם עניני תורה ומצות והשפעה בסביבתם בכיוון זה, ותקותי חזקה שכעבור זמן לא ארוך יבשרני טוב גם בהטבת מצבם הגשמי.
כיון שאינו מזכיר בהנוגע לבריאות, מפרש הנני את זה שהכל בסדר ושלום הן אצל זוגתו תחי' והן בהנוגע לו.

In response to your letter from the 23rd of Shevat and the previous one, my reply was delayed due to many preoccupations. I was pleased to read about your efforts to organize a group of young men in Tel Aviv for Tanya study. Even though, as you write, they are currently free-spirited, we are assured by the power of our holy Torah, the Torah of life, that its study is great because it leads to action. Of course, not everyone has the same time span between learning and action, but ultimately the goal will be achieved. It is clear that if you also speak with them about practical application in addition to study, this will hasten the intended outcome. Fortunate is the lot of all those who strive in this and similar matters.
Regarding what you wrote about your material situation, it is understood that there is no reason at all to be affected by this; it is only a passing matter. The stronger you and your wife are in your trust in the Creator and Leader of the world, the closer will be the blessings from the Creator in actual and visibly tangible ways—especially since you are involved in preparing vessels for blessing through Torah and mitzvos and influencing your environment accordingly. I strongly hope that after not too long you will inform me of good news regarding improvement in your material situation.
Since you did not mention anything regarding health, I interpret this as meaning that everything is fine and peaceful both with your wife and with yourself.
